Client #1 – Owed almost $20,000 to the IRS and the IRS had issued a wage levy on their employment income. We reviewed the taxpayer’s information and requested the IRS release the wage levy imposed on this taxpayer based on the client’s current situation. The IRS released the wage levy immediately. We then recommended this client proceed with an Offer In Compromise to completely resolve their tax debt with the IRS. The client agreed to proceed and we proposed an Offer amount of $50. The offer was reviewed by the IRS and the decision was made to accept the offer.
